When selected, SetupSlate creates a Windows restore point before real app installs and configuration actions.
Registry values are backed up
Registry-backed Windows configuration actions save previous values before changing them.
Manual where it should be manual
Sensitive areas such as Windows Update, Defender, firewall, accounts, and security review stay manual by default.
No hidden changes
SetupSlate does not disable services, modify Defender, remove apps, or run generic performance tweaks.
